What can I say! I'm having such an incredible time meeting new friends and experiencing the Olympic buzz of the city.
I snagged this shot after Jon's first run of the second day! He was just hours away from becoming a National Hero.
Getting this view was not an easy task for a fairly little girl like me.
I somehow managed to get near the official Media Pit but it was still hard to see past tall men with big lenses. Even though I made friends with the shooters from the Toronto Star, and The Globe and Mail as well as several German publications I was stuck.
Finally, after what seemed sooo frustrating, I made friends with two hardcore fans who shoved over and gave me access minutes before I got this shot.
I guess the lesson of the day for me is...Make friends.
