So I've decided--call it Olympic inspiration--that my next few posts will be dedicated to sharing images of the beautiful land that is Canada!
I only wish that I had pictures from all the provinces, but I'm excited to share those that I have from Alberta and British Columbia.

This shot is my big brother on Fawcett lake, Alberta. (I can't remember if he caught anything that day). Every year my family goes up to Northern Alberta where the Aurora Borealis dances in the sky, the moose roam freely and the fish bite almost as often as the mosquitoes.

My brother and I used to do a canoe trip up the river and sometimes even spend a night in the woods (without out-houses even).

After a few weeks of Olympic pandemonium here in Vancouver, a week up there would sure be welcomed.
